  ORIENTATION PROGRAMME in ENGLISH GRAMMAR Date: 13/10/2022 - 15/10/2022 Our college introduced orientation programme in english grammar for the students to recall the basic knowledge of English. Here every staff members took part in it. And we have teaching sessions in the morning and to test our understanding.we have written test in the afternoon session.   The topics are in the following  1. Voice 2. Degrees of comparison 3. January 17, 2023  DATE : 13/01/2023 DAY : Friday           PONGAL CELEBRATION    Pongal Day was celebrated in my college on 13.01.2023. Pongal was held around 9:30 am. After that Rangoli competition was held. And then the debate began in earnest. Chief guest was tamil professor in Govindammal Aditanar College for Women.                          SEMINAR   Seminar on "The Future of Teaching Profession in the India" January 12,2023 On 11th Jan,2023, The seminar was conducted in our college regarding "The Future of Teaching Profession in the India". The special guest is  prof.B.William, Dean, Head of the Department of Education, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. The special guest delivered speech on the importance of the teaching profession and it's future, scopes of teaching. He really enlighten us by making his students to share their views. It's really a worthy session and his guidance are very useful for each and every student who attended the seminar.

  FIRE AND SAFETY DEMONSTRATION  FIRE  and SAFETY DEMONSTRATION  January 07, 2023 On January 06, 2023. Our college organised the fire and safety demonstration program. They invited Mr.S. Rajamoorthy, B.Sc., Station Fire Officer, Fire Safety Demonstration and Fire Rescue Services, Tiruchendur. The event started with the welcome speech delivered by our college staff. The chief guest introduction done by our college principal Dr. P. Swamydas. The chief guest started to deliver his speech on fire safety. He instructed about the fire extinguisher,it's use,its formulae.how to use it where to use it and it's types. He explained in detail how to save ourself and others when we struck in fire.         Traffic Rules and Regulation.  According to the National Crime Records Bureau, around 4,67,171 road accidents took place in 2019. With such a high number of mishaps, road safety rules are of paramount importance.The importance of road safety is lost on those who do not use the zebra crossing to cross a road! The black and white stripes are there for a reason, and for your safety, make use of it to cross the road.Among the important road safety rules is to avoid consuming alcohol and then driving. Alcohol consumption impairs cognitive functioning and hence prevents a person from being fully in control of the vehicle.   Medical Awareness.   First aid is the provision of initial care for an illness or injury. It is usually performed by a non-expert person to a sick or injured person until appropriate medical treatment can be accessed in a hospital or by going to a doctor. Certain self-limiting illnesses or minor injuries may not require further medical care after the first aid intervention. It generally consists of a series of simple and in some cases, potentially life-saving techniques that an individual can be trained to perform with minimal equipment. The First aid training, therefore, is of value in both preventing and treating sudden illness or accidental injury and in caring for large number of persons caught in a natural disaster.
